English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL
Welcome!
English classes at CBC offer a fun place to practice language skills while meeting other learners. Come learn while making friends from all over the world.
We hope you will join us for ESOL classes starting September 17 2024!
Classes
Classes begin September 17, 2024 and continue until May 29, 2025. Classes are held on the following days:
Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm (one class - low intermediate)
Thursday mornings from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (two classes - low intermediate and high intermediate)
You do not need to attend classes on both days.
Fees
Book Fee: $30 for 1 year (September 2024 - June 2025)
Location
All classes are held at Centreville Baptist Church. Please enter through the front doors and go down the stairs to your right to find your class. A teacher will be at the door to direct you.
Registration
Please click the “Register” link on this page to register online and select the class that you would like to attend. Payment is required online at the time of registration. If you are new to ESOL and would like to try a class before committing to the year, sign up to attend one class for free!
Materials
CBC classes use the Ventures curriculum from Cambridge University Press. Students will receive books during their first class. Please bring a pen or pencil with you to class. No other materials are needed.
Low intermediate classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays will use Ventures Level 2
High intermediate classes on Thursdays will use Ventures Level 3
