The Mission
Centreville Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciple-making disciples.
The Vision
A healthy tree produces much fruit and so do healthy local churches. We long to see people converted, disciples matured, leaders raised up, and new churches to be planted.
The Strategy
We encourage everyone to pursue following Christ through participation in the following four ministries of our church.
Sunday Gathering: We believe gathering each Sunday with the local church to read, pray, sing, and preach the Word is vital to the Christian life.
Community Groups: We encourage everyone to be a part of one of our groups that meet on campus or in homes every week or every other week to build Christian community through discussing how to apply God's Word, pray specifically for one another, and share life together.
One to One Discipleship: Meeting with another to study God's Word, share life, and provide accountability can happen in a deeper way between two or three people than it can in a community group or gathered worship.
Equip Classes: Every Christian needs to learn more about Theology, the Bible, and how to live the Christian life. These classes are more content driven and aim at equipping saints for the works of ministry.

Core Values
God's Voice Above Every Other
We are convicted that God has revealed both himself and our purpose as humans in the Scriptures, and that God's children seek to trust and obey his voice above every other voice including their own. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
All of Jesus for All of Life
We are a Christ-centered church seeking to exalt Christ in all things as we are being shaped by Christ in every area of our lives—thoughts, actions, deeds, work, friendship, marriage, etc. (Colossians 1:16)
Reaching Neighbors and Nations
Jesus sent every disciple on mission both to their neighbors and the nations in Matthew 28, and Jesus calls us to share the gospel with those near and far in all of life. This requires us to be all things to all people. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Many Peoples, One Body
We see it as a unique grace and responsibility that we live in one of the most diverse regions in the world with over 120 nations represented and believe that diversity displays the power of the Gospel. (Ephesians 2:11-22)
Sacrificial One-Anothering
Local Church membership forms the context in which Christians can live out the 59 one-anothers of the New Testament building up the church through acts of service and use of their spiritual gifts. (John 13:34-35)
Patience with Others
The Holy Spirit is changing each of us into the image of Christ from one degree of glory to the next. None of us are yet what we shall be when Jesus returns to restore all things. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
Faithful Generosity
It's more blessed to give than receive, so we will joyfully bless others individually and collectively as a church marked by life-giving generosity and faithful stewardship of God's resources. (James 1:17; 1 John 3:17)
